Our efforts, both large and small, are aimed at promoting a more sustainable and equitable society.

Functional design

Our designs are the result of careful analysis of the practical needs of our users. A central element of our approach is modularity, which allows us to flexibly adapt our products to individual needs. This modular design means that different elements can be combined or extended at will, so that the furniture always meets the changing needs of everyday life.
This flexibility contributes significantly to the longevity of our products, as they can grow with the circumstances of their users. Functional, modular solutions not only make everyday life easier, but also promote sustainable use. This guarantees a longer lifespan and ensures that our products are enjoyed for years to come.

Timeless design

In addition to functionality, we place great emphasis on timeless design. Instead of following short-lived trends, we focus on designs that have a timeless aesthetic. Our products are made from natural materials that can develop a beautiful patina over time. This patina not only gives the furniture character, but also a unique, individual touch.
We also incorporate materials from recycled sources that are environmentally friendly and offer a sustainable alternative. This combination allows us to create products that still look contemporary after many years and do not need to be replaced.

Care instructions

We are committed to using environmentally friendly products to protect the environment and provide sustainable solutions for our customers. We provide comprehensive care instructions to maximise the life of your products. These instructions help our customers to carry out the correct care and maintenance so that they can enjoy their furniture for a long time.
By handling and caring for our products properly, our customers help to maintain their quality and aesthetics, while reducing the environmental impact of frequent furniture replacement.

Customised solutions

Each product can be customised to meet our customers' needs. Through customisation, we create products that best suit our customers' lifestyles and therefore have a longer lifespan.
Local production
We manufacture locally in Vienna, which allows us to closely control the quality of our products and ensure they meet our high standards. We also actively support the local economy and help create jobs in the region.
We are currently working closely with our landlord, the Tischlerei, to produce our own electricity using solar panels from 2025. This will enable us to make our energy supply sustainable and further reduce our environmental footprint.
In the future, we also plan to switch to an ecological heating system to make our operations even greener. These measures are part of our commitment to sustainability and our responsibility to the environment and the community.

Working in a small team

Working closely together in our small team of less than 10 people enables us to ensure a high level of quality and attention to detail in each of our products. Our team consists of a master joiner, a CNC specialist and three carpenters, who are also actively involved in the process as owners, designers and planners.
The manageable size of the team allows ideas to be shared and implemented more efficiently, which greatly improves communication and workflow. A pleasant working environment is particularly important to us, as it promotes motivation and commitment among our employees. Each individual contributes significantly to our success, and this positive atmosphere has a direct impact on the quality of our work.

Proximity to the customer

Our local manufacturing enables us to work closely with our customers and fully understand their individual needs and requirements. This direct communication allows us to develop customised solutions that are perfectly tailored to our customers' needs.
Being close to our customers also enables us to respond more flexibly and quickly to enquiries and to continually improve our customer service. In this way, we can ensure that each product is not only of the highest quality, but also fully meets our customers' expectations.

Sustainable materials and components

We use only certified wood and bamboo from responsible forestry and sustainable bamboo cultivation to protect the environment.
In wood manufacturing, the term forestry is used to refer to the sustainable management of forests. Forestry involves the care, use and protection of forests to provide timber and other forest products in a way that maintains and enhances natural ecosystems over the long term. A key objective of forestry is to keep forests healthy, protect biodiversity and counteract the negative effects of deforestation. Trees are felled and replanted in a sustainable cycle to ensure that the forest can regenerate and that a balance is maintained between use and conservation.
Bamboo, on the other hand, is not a tree but a grass that grows much faster than wood. Its rapid growth - some species can grow up to a metre a day - makes bamboo a particularly sustainable alternative. A major advantage of bamboo is that it grows back after being cut without the need for replanting, significantly reducing regeneration time. Sustainable bamboo cultivation ensures that harvesting is done in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner. Similar to forestry, sustainable methods protect soil quality and minimise negative impacts on the surrounding ecosystem. This resource-efficient way of managing bamboo makes it an ideal material for durable and environmentally friendly products.
Although wood and bamboo are botanically different, both approaches - forestry and bamboo cultivation - follow the same principles: conservation and protection of natural resources and responsible use in harmony with nature.
In addition to wood and bamboo, we also pay close attention to the origin of other materials. Our stone worktops are quarried from high quality local stone in the Alps, which means short transport routes and a reduced carbon footprint. For our white goods, we choose sustainable brands such as Miele, Bora and Fisher & Paykel, which are known for their durability, energy efficiency and environmentally friendly production processes.
These measures ensure that our products are not only aesthetically pleasing and functional, but also make an active contribution to the sustainable and responsible use of natural resources.

Eco-friendly surface treatment

We use solvent-free natural oils, such as Monocoat, for the surface treatment of our products, which are environmentally friendly and harmless to health. These natural oils protect the wood in a sustainable way while retaining its natural look and feel. Monocoat creates a long-lasting protective layer without the use of harmful chemicals that could affect the environment or human health.
We also use white glue, a water-based dispersion adhesive that is free of formaldehyde. White glue is not only low in emissions, but also provides a strong and durable bond between the wood components without releasing harmful substances.
By using these environmentally friendly products, we make an active contribution to protecting the environment, while creating safe, durable and high quality surfaces that meet the high demands of our customers.

Sustainable partnerships

Although we have not yet fully achieved our goal, we are continually working to develop partnerships with suppliers who share our environmental values. We strive to ensure that the materials and components we source meet our high sustainability standards.
We are always looking for partners who use environmentally friendly production methods and are responsible with resources. This is an ongoing process and we are committed to continually improving our entire supply chain to meet our environmental and ethical standards.
Although we are not there yet, we are determined to continue on this journey to achieve our vision of sustainable and environmentally responsible production.

Waste and energy reduction

We continually optimise our production processes to minimise waste and minimise energy consumption. We pay particular attention to the efficient use of materials and the reuse of waste. We use recycling-friendly processes to ensure that any waste that is produced can be recycled or reused in the best way possible.
These measures help us to reduce our environmental impact and use resources more sustainably, making our production processes even greener.

Life-cycle approach

We take a holistic approach by considering the entire lifecycle of our products - from manufacture through use to disposal. We focus on the ease of maintenance, repairability and recyclability of our products. The aim is to ensure that our products are not only durable, but also easy to maintain and repair when necessary to extend their life.
We are currently working on a rental system that will allow our products to be returned, refurbished and re-circulated at the end of their useful life. This system promotes a circular economy where resources are conserved and waste is minimised. By taking back and reusing products, we can close the material loop and further reduce our environmental impact.
Our ultimate goal is to create products that last, are repairable and can be disposed of or recycled in an environmentally responsible manner at the end of their life cycle. In this way, we actively take responsibility and make a significant contribution to a more sustainable and fairer future.
