ÜBER UNS

Neuvermoebelt ist ein in Wien ansässiges Designbüro mit eigener Möbelproduktion. Ein wesentlicher Teil unseres kreativen Prozesses als Designer besteht darin, unsere Entwürfe und Prototypen in unserer eigenen Tischlerei in Wien zu entwickeln und anschließend selbst zu produzieren. Diese Vorgangsweise ermöglicht es uns, höchste Qualität zu garantieren und gleichzeitig flexibel auf individuelle Designideen einzugehen. Unsere Werkstatt ist neben unserem Showroom das Herzstück unseres Unternehmens, wo handwerkliches Können auf innovative Ideen trifft.

Neuvermoebelt is a Vienna-based design studio with its own furniture production. An essential part of our creative process as designers consists of developing our designs and prototypes in our own joinery in Vienna and then producing them ourselves. This approach enables us to guarantee the highest quality and at the same time respond flexibly to individual design ideas. Alongside our showroom, our workshop is the heart of our company, where craftsmanship meets innovative ideas.

Seit vielen Jahren verwende ich als Produktionsdesignerin und Bühnenbildnerin Ikea-Möbel für Film- und Theaterprojekte. Billy, Besta & Co sind die Evergreens des schwedischen Möbelhauses, preiswert und gut, aber wenig individuell. Deshalb gestalte ich sie neu.

Es findet ein Paradigmenwechsel im Umgang mit der Umwelt und unseren Ressourcen statt, der sich auch im " Lebenstil " niederschlägt.
Auf der Suche nach einem individuellen Platz in unserer globalen Welt suchen wir nach alternativen Ideen, resourchenschonenden Produkten, nach Dingen mit Geschichte und Mehrwert.
Das Zeitalter der Wegwerfgesellschaft gehört damit hoffentlich bald der Vergangenheit an.

As a production designer and set designer, I have been using Ikea furniture for film and theater projects for many years. Billy, Besta & Co are the evergreens of the Swedish furniture store, cheap and good, but not very individual. That's why I redesigned them.

There is a paradigm shift in the way we deal with the environment and our resources, which is also reflected in our "lifestyle".
In search of an individual place in our global world, we are looking for alternative ideas, resource-saving products, things with history and added value.
The era of the throwaway society will hopefully soon be a thing of the past.

Handwerkliches Arbeiten, insbesondere mit Holz, übt auf mich eine besondere Faszination aus. Die Begeisterung für hochwertige Materialien, deren Kombination und Verarbeitung hat mich immer wieder inspiriert und zur Entwicklung des Projektes Neuvermoebelt® geführt.

Als Architekt sind für mich nicht nur das Design, sondern auch die Eigenschaften der Materialien - ihre Haptik, Farbe und Qualität - von großer Bedeutung.

Gutes Design bedeutet für mich nicht nur eine subjektiv ansprechende Gestaltung, sondern auch Funktionalität, Nutzen und Nachhaltigkeit. Diese Aspekte lassen sich objektiv messen.

Craftsmanship, especially working with wood, holds a special fascination for me. My enthusiasm for high-quality materials, their combination and processing has inspired me again and again and led to the development of the Neuvermoebelt® project.

As an architect, not only the design, but also the properties of the materials - their feel, color and quality - are of great importance to me.

For me, good design is not only a subjectively appealing design, but also functionality, utility and sustainability. These aspects can be measured objectively.
